Whether you have eyeglasses or sunglasses you wish to tether around your neck, do it with style using an eyeglass holder necklace. Pick out some colorful beads and string them together in whatever design you choose. Use stretchy eyeglass holders to attach your eyeglasses to the necklace and you will be ready to step out with your eyeglasses around your neck.

Things You’ll Need:
Tape measure
Nylon beading thread
Scissors
2 crimp beads
2 eyeglass holders (for attaching the necklace to the eyeglasses)
Crimping pliers
Beads
1 Determine the length you desire for your eyeglass holder necklace by looping the tape measure around your neck. Add 2 inches to this measurement and write it down.
2 Cut a length of nylon beading thread to the measurement you determined in step 1.
3 Place a crimp bead onto one end of the nylon beading thread and move it down approximately 1 inch along the nylon beading thread. Pass the same end of the nylon beading thread through the metal end of one of the eyeglass holders and then insert the end of the beading thread through the crimp bead. Tighten the nylon beading thread so the crimp bead is snug against the end of the eyeglass holder.
4 Crimp the crimp bead with the crimping pliers to secure the connection of the eyeglass holder onto the beading thread.
5 Thread the beads onto the other end of the beading thread in whatever design you desire. Continue adding beads until approximately 1 inch of beading thread remains.
6 Add the second crimp bead onto the beading thread and place it snugly against the last bead.
7 Pass the end of the beading thread through the second eyeglass holder in the same fashion as you attached the first. Insert the end of the beading thread through the crimp bead and tighten the nylon beading thread so the crimp bead is snug against the beads and the eyeglass holder is snug against the crimp bead.
8 Crimp the second crimp bead with the crimping pliers to finish the eyeglass holder necklace.
