Though your older eyeglasses may not have the style, strength or size you desire, you can donate them to the Lions Club so that another individual may use them. The Lions Club allows anyone to drop off their eyeglasses in specified boxes or mail them to an appropriate address. The process of mailing your old eyeglasses is simple with addresses provided on the Lions Club website.
Instructions
1 Wrap your glasses in bubble wrap or other protective material, and place them in a box. Consult the post office or other mailing service for postage information and proper packaging.
2 Send the package to “Lions Club International Headquarters, Attention: Receiving Department, 300 W. 22nd St., Oak Brook, IL 60523.” Your package will reach the club’s national headquarters.
3 Find an address nearest to you on the Lions Club website. Mail your package to this address if preferred.
