Many organizations encourage individuals to donate their used eyeglasses. Millions of people all over the world need the help of eyeglasses but cannot afford them. Your contribution will help these people see clearly. Your donated eyeglasses might go to a child, teen or an elderly person. A few charities within New Jersey allow you to drop off or mail them your eyeglasses. Some of them help local people, while others send the eyeglasses to a location with the greatest need.
