1 Visit charityguide.org and go to the page on how to donate your old eyeglasses. (See Resources) Here you will find links to the three primary donation sites: Lions Clubs, Goodwill Industries and Lenscrafters.
2 Choose an organization through which to donate. Lions Clubs, Goodwill Industries and Lenscrafters all have multiple locations in the Dallas area.
3 Click on the link of the organization you have chosen. Here you will be able to find the location nearest you in the Dallas area. Type in your city, state and zip code as directed and view the resulting map to find the nearest location and directions on how to get there.
4 Drive to the location with the eyeglasses you are going to donate. If you do not immediately see a drop-box, ask an employee or volunteer where the eyeglasses collection box is located.

1 Place your eyeglasses securely inside a padded envelope. Add additional padding to the envelope if necessary in order to ensure that the glasses will not be damaged during transport.
