How to Donate Eyeglass Frames

In North America, over 4 million pairs of glasses are thrown out each year. The World Health Organization says that almost a quarter of the world population is in need of eyeglasses. The price of eyeglasses in developing countries exceeds three months salary. In some of these countries, donated glasses are the only options visually impaired people have to see well again. Countries along the equator need non-prescription sunglasses to protect their eyes. Donate your outgrown or out-of-style glasses and sunglasses to help people worldwide.
