How to Choose the Perfect Color of Contact Lenses

If you’re considering to wear colored contact lenses, read this post to find out how to choose the perfect color of contact lenses. After all, your eye color is an important asset at your disposal. When you choose the right color, your eyes will look more bright and alert, which will enhance your entire look.

To learn how to choose the perfect color of contact lenses, there are two essential elements you need to keep in mind – your skin color and hair color.

You can determine your skin color yourself. The best way to do so is to see yourself in the morning, before applying any makeup. As the day goes by, your skin can darken due to various reasons like sunlight, stress, pollution, etc. Hence, morning time is the best time to determine your skin color.

Next is your hair color. The best way to determine your hair color is after your hair has been washed and dried. Stand in natural light, not direct sunlight, to see what your actual hair color is. Direct sunlight can play tricks on your hair, giving you an illusion of highlights. So natural sunlight is better.

There is no way I can give all the combinations of skin and hair colors to help you understand how to choose the perfect color of contact lenses, but here are a few examples:

If you have fair skin, and light to medium brown hair, you can try wearing blue, blue-green, or blue-gray contact lenses.

If you have olive skin and dark hair (brown, red), try brown, hazel, or green lenses.

If you have pale skin, and light hair, you can try blue, gray, or blue-gray contact lenses.

If you have dark skin, and medium to dark hair, try hazel or brown (light to dark shades) lenses.

This is quite a short list. I understand. To understand how to choose the perfect color of contact lenses, send me your skin color and hair color, or your photograph, to know which colors will look good.
